after a brief vacation from the studio, the midwest product boys
saddled up in the studio for this ep, the first for ghostly's
digital-only imprint. a remix of "swamp" from their world series
of love ep treads lightly on telefon tel aviv territory before
going back into a more somber re-creation of the song that brings
back elements of one of the group's most beautiful offerings,
"duckpond." the rest of the selections are exactly what you'd
expect from the trio: pleasantly inoffensive pop songs with
romantic melodies and nods in every direction to a synth pop era
gone by.
