Egoexpress, Ladomat's two most musical East Friesians and
"model rockers" have come up with a new hit and have
moulded it into just about every format you can imagine. A
really big thing with spellbinding vocals and Dadaist
lyrics by Tocotronic┤s youthful hero Dirk von Lowtzow.
The youngsters came up with the idea all on their own and
at the same time it's Dirk's first venture into electronic
realms. Suits him well, this Egoexpress sound.
And for those who now wish to proceed: the "weiter" single
will be available on CDM and 12" as of 22nd November
featuring a superb horsy cover and mixes by superstars
from the neighbourhood:
Alter Ego, who since their releases on Harthouse and Klang
Electronik can perhaps be seen as one of the most famous
techno projects from Frankfurt (meanwhile, amongst others,
Sven Vaeth's most favourite producers and studio
companions), devote themselves to "weiter" with music.
Roman Fluegel himself sweeps his hands over the Rhodes
keys
and bestows the track with an unbelievably crystalline
sound.
Deep Delight with warmly recommendable Rhodes pipe,
unmasterable 303 bass drum and even more finest harmony
instruments.
Antonelli electr., who has created countless high-class
12"s and a magnificent album, offers the most
rave-compatible version of "weiter". Unparalleled Italiano
piano for Mayday situations and moods. A wonderful popular
melody. Duesseldorf / Rimini here we go.
Parfuem, the recently founded Hamburg-Berlin-Cologne label
Parfuem masterfully maps the label concept (popstrokesong)
of the usually preferred 7" format onto the big record of
their mates from Hamburg's Pudel Club.
In this case Christian Flamm aka Peace persuaded the kids
from the neighbourhood to imitate Dirk von Lowtzow.
With an extra portion of bass line and ace Casio organs is
how a further version evolved, one that is just as
brilliant for home listening as it is for clubbing.
