The first solo CD by Crash Kelly guitarist
Allister Thompson is an exercise in
reflective, melancholy psychedelic folk
music, in the best tradition of the
troubabours of the late 60s and early 70s,
like Nick Drake and Sandy Denny. Recorded
over a long period of time in two musty
apartments, these tracks happily acquired the
gauzy haze of an early 70s psych record with
little help. They unfold like a winter
daydream on a cloudy afternoon.
