this record label from france is quickly making a big name in the
dance music scene around the world. this cannot come as a big
surprise with such a great list of artists: chez damier, alton
miller, ron trent, k-hand and bernard badie just to name a few.
distance covers various styles of underground dance music: garage,
deephouse, techno and funky beats. next to all their great
releases on 12" vinyl and cd-single, distance records also
releases some of the most special compilations and mixed cd's.
french artists like dj jef k., dj jerome pacman and dj bertrand
have mixed the "my house", french session and "distance to house"
compilations. but distance also releases mixes by reknown
international dj's like kings of tomorrow, larry heard, todd
edwards, kevin yost and luke solomon. distance recently started a
new sub-label called marble bar with two slammin records by label
managers bronx dogs, a group of graffiti artists from the bronx,
new york.
