Hexentanz is a side project between members of The Soil Bleeds Black
and Psychonaut 75. Musically, you get a combination of both bands,
but hard to pinpoint an exact genre for this style to fit into,
though it is very Pagan influenced. This 7" vinyl is limited to 500
copies. Also my first attempt at ripping vinyl, but sounds alright.
Press:
The debut release of Hexentanz presents an excursion into the
shadows of the Dark Ages through sounds of witchcraft and blasphemic
rites. A collaborative project between members of The Soil Bleeds
Black and Psychonaut 75.
Band info:
Hexentanz, literally "the witches dance," is a collaborative project
between members of The Soil Bleeds Black and Psychonaut 75, created
to explore themes pertaining to medieval witchcraft. Hexentanz,
emerges as a perfect blend between the dark ambient sentimentalities
of Psychonaut 75 and the medieval atmospheres of The Soil Bleeds
Black. The magicians of Hexentanz include: Michael Ford, Dana Dark,
Davcina, Mark Riddick, and Michael Riddick. All members contribute
to the music through various forms of sound experimentation via
samples, keyboards, percussives, woodwinds, EVP recordings, and
human bones.
The aim of Hexentanz is to express the mythic image of sorcery and
the black arts as they were represented during the Dark Ages,
steeped in mystery and danger. All participants within Hexentanz
maintain a serious interest in occultism and the practice of
witchcraft. Member Michael Ford has drafted and published numerous
pamphlets and essays on the Luciferian path, Chaos magic, the
Sabbatic tradition, Vampiric sorcery, the Typhonian currents, and
the left hand tradition. Additionally, Mr. Ford is currently
awaiting the debut printing of his "Book of the Witch Moon," to be
available soon. Member Michael Riddick has drafted and published
essays on spirituality and alchemy and is currently working on an
extensive book entitled "Witchcraft: A Technology & Tradition of the
Black Arts," outlining the history of witchcraft and a practical
approach towards the application of magic and self-development.
Hexentanz therefore becomes the auditory catalyst for the substance
behind the literary and action-based applications of its members.
The Riddick Brothers and Michael Ford have maintained a continual
active presence in the experimental genres, having published albums
and material with labels such as Cold Meat Industry, World Serpent,
Napalm Records, Athanor, Moribund Records, Full Moon Productions,
and more. Dana Dark, who is a well respected DJ and promoter in the
gothic underground, is also notorious for her modeling work, having
been featured in various magazines and websites throughout the
scene. Mr. Ford's wife, Davcina, is also an accomplished painter who
has had her work featured in various occult avenues.

MORAL DiSCLAiMER: We are very aware of the fact that our releases
contribute to the growing sale losses of record companies.
Unfortunately our style primarily targets small, independant labels
that need sales to survive.
For these reasons we ask you not to distribute this release on public
sites or P2P tools; if more and more receive their music from the net,
artists and labels will have to face even less sells than nowadays.
Please do not consider this release as a substitute to the original, but
only as a way to check out and learn about new music.
We absolutely do not approve of DJs or other individuals that earn
money from pirated music - Don't let them get their hands on it!
By buying the albums you like you disperse the guilt we feel by
releasing this music - Enjoy the music and be fair with the artists!
YOUR support is required to keep them financially alive and producing!
ATTENTiON: There is currently a 0day group operating under the name "AmoK"!
These individuals (mostly re-releasing cracks for the "webscene") are
in NO WAY releated with AMOK and we expect 0day staff to nuke their
releases as "fake" wherever uploaded!
