hollands number one latinhouse deejay is quinten de rozario. he is
also resident deejay of the famous rotterdam based club dmw. dmw
(down mexico way) is the classiest place to be in rotterdam (with
phillippe starck couches and a smoking room where you can smoke
your cohibaÆs, of course) the exotic atmosphere brings people in
exactly the right mood. quinten captures this (summer)spirit with
his very well mixed compilation album "latin essentials" on
natural records. he did find a strong balance between vocal
traditionals and more uplifting latinhouse. lots of well known
names on this great album: llorca, negro can, levitation, kiko
navarro. but more important than famous names: a great album to
listen to. and to dance to.
