Hailing from Tampa, Florida, DJ Jask is the resident at the
infamous "Jack's House" held every Tuesday night at the Hyde Park
CafΘ. As the official Large Music ambassador for 2001, Jask has
traveled to diverse cities such as Boston, Toronto, Paris, Miami
and San Francisco with his smooth and soulful DJ sets. He also
took the summer dancefloors by storm last year with his Thaisoul
Orchestra EP on SoulFuric and his Full Length LP on Step Ahead
Records.
Large Music first heard Jask in Miami during the Winter Music
Conference of 2000, and immediately asked him to mix our first
compilation, Dancing In The Spirit. Jask likes his music soulful,
and we hope his Thai Vibes brings a smile to your face and a
shiver down your spine.
