This fall, Appleseed will release three major CDs to coincide with the labelÆs
tenth anniversary:

On September 11, weÆre issuing our first-ever sampler, Sowing the Seeds û The
10th Anniversary , a 2-CD, 37-track set that includes newly recorded tracks by
Bruce Springsteen and Pete Seeger (their first recorded collaboration û and on a
Springsteen song, at that!), Ani DiFranco and Donovan, as well as highlights of
the our 80-plus releases to date.

Each of the setÆs discs has a separate theme. Disc 1, ôAnd Justice for All,ö
collects many politically relevant compositions encompassing the ongoing war in
Iraq, human rights issues and the environment. Disc 2 of Sowing the Seeds,
subtitled  "Love, Hope and Appleseed,ö showcases a somewhat ôlighterö song
selection and the wide range of artists and styles represented on the label.
