Take one listen to the music of Matt White and you're hooked. His songs are
relatable--you'll think of the one who got your heart, the pains and pleasures
of growing up and the remarkable journey in discovering just who the heck you
are. Drawing inspiration from Elton John, Jeff Buckley, Coldplay and Maroon 5
(He's like Maroon 5 in one person), Matt White's debut album, Best Days, marks
the arrival of a gifted songwriter who draws from his own experience. Matt
delivers a song with a smooth voice that will immediately put the listener at
ease. The first single (of the same name), "Best Days," is about a girl, whom
Matt cannot name, who challenged him to go camping.

Contemporary singer/songwriter Matt White is a melodic vocalist with a knack for
intimate adult alternative pop. Growing up in Englewood, NJ, White spent much of
his youth in and around New York City. Interested in music from a young age, he
began piano lessons at age three and picked up the guitar while attending
college at the University of Wisconsin. Upon graduating, White returned to NYC
and began busking around the city on street corners and in parks, and eventually
moved on to clubs like Joe's Pub and the Living Room. A genuine product of the
online generation, it was White's local following combined with his considerable
connections on Myspace ù over 50,000 friends ù that caught the attention of
Geffen Records, who signed White to a deal. An EP, Bleeker Street Stories
followed soon after, in 2006, and sold well over iTunes. White's full-length
debut album was set for release in 2007.
