It was always gonna take a lot to top Whistlebump's debut release
(Krivit mixes of Soul Central's "Strings Of Life"), which is why
they've waited until they've got these two sticks of re-edit
dynamite in their possession! As a special one-off addendum to the
"Motown Remixed" project, the Detroit soul label allowed
Whistlebump an exclusive pick. About a year earlier Bill Brewster
and Paul Noble had extended The Jackson 5's "Body Language (Do The
Love Dance)" into a fabulous disco-funk extravaganza for the whole
family and this deal gave them the chance of an official release.
As for the B-side, the guys plumped for a version of The Supremes'
Northern floorfiller "Stone Love" by legendary disco remixer Tom
Moulton. Worth its weight in gold.
