4th Release on Urban Graffiti's Tags & Throw Ups series,
this time coming to us from H.O.D. "Staying Put" opens the
twelve with some moody chords and soulful vocals, giving
way eventually to some rough percussive drops and bass
stabs - fairly standard stuff but quite effective
nonetheless. "Wonderful" opens the flip with a drum & bass
blueprint re-configured with some nudging bass rubs and
those emotive strings, while the EP closes with the ace
"Dutty Skank", by some way the best thing here with its
useful combination of evocative soundscaping, clipped
rhymes and a boastfu,l skanking low-end.
Release Notes:
Previous release included some system sounds the tracks
and mislabeled artist names. Sorry!
