The third chapter of ôBatucadaö arrives early enough to extend the summer. Mole
presents another V.A. made of high quality ingredients. The name ôBatucadaö is a
substyle of samba and refers to an African influenced Brazilian percussive
style, usually performed by an ensemble. It is considered by some to be the
epitome of the percussive ensemble.
And in fact the percussion and harmonics remind one of warm and comfortable
late-summer nights in a South-American suburb. The whole compilation is more
than traditional Samba rhythms. Obviously the roots come from Latin-American
spheres but Minus 8 compiled a great variety of mixed styles, therefore you also
experience Soul, Hip-Hop, Downbeat and luxurious easy listening flavour! Meyer
is a quite successful Suisse producer and is greatly experienced in the field of
Samba and South-American culture. As Minus 8 who released on many platforms, is
member of Compost and also compiled the preceding volumes of the Batucada
series. Take a seat, press play and enjoy a trip to Brazil with stylish people,
sexy sounds and pure listening comfort!
The Album as usual refers to the message û just take a look and you will see
what your ears can expect. An excellent and fresh interpretation of
Latin-flavoured sounds û the perfect choice for ambitious people who want to
underline the impressive and memorable character of their free time activities!
