Release Notes:
F÷r Elise represents a culmination of feelings and events that will catch on to
you, your friends, and ex-friends. There is an implied understanding between
the five extraordinary upstarts from the band that goes as follows: "What I've
seen, you've seen." Besides being rooted in their friendships with each other,
they feel this understanding underlies the purpose for their music to be made.
Essentially, "What we've been through, you've been through." So if by chance
you catch on to a song before it catches you, then you're with F÷r Elise all the
way.
It's as simple as this: one cannot go anywhere without sound being present, and
to F÷r Elise, those sounds result in music whether directly or passively.
Lyrically, the band utilizes the inspiration provided by the environment of
those sounds. Sounds? People talking, people moving, doors slamming, wax
melting û whatever, obvious or symbolic. The band has taken influences from
Jimmy Eat World to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tupac to the Beatles.
Namedropping, in this sense, means respect and motivation.
What is namedropping? And who is Elise? Well, to put it simply, the music is
either calling you in, or calling you out. The band will provide less sympathy
and more sarcasm to your listening needs. On that note, excuse the sarcasm and
the rockstar bio because if F÷r Elise didn't have it then they wouldn't be a
band today.
