█ █▓█ Operating since 2000, Dennis has quickly built up an █▓█ █
█ █▓█ impressive catalogue, mainly on ESEL as James Din A4 █▓█ █
█ █▓█ but also with releases on OUT TO LUNCH, DIAT and █▓█ █
█ █▓█ BACJGROUND RECORDS.He has aslo released albums on ESEL █▓█ █
█ █▓█ as Lassie & Chris, Pop Dylan and, quit possibly, █▓█ █
█ █▓█ various other aliases. █▓█ █
█ █▓█ █▓█ █
█ █▓█ Dennis's music has a low-key, organic feel, ranging █▓█ █
█ █▓█ broadly in style from melodic electro/acoustic █▓█ █
█ █▓█ soundtrack pieces, to deep abstract clichy techno, to █▓█ █
█ █▓█ beautifully raw downtempo house, vaguely reminiscent at █▓█ █
█ █▓█ times of Theo Parrish and other detroit flavours. █▓█ █
█ █▓█ Despite a heathly mix of styles, Dennis has established █▓█ █
█ █▓█ a very distinctive signature sound, his production have █▓█ █
█ █▓█ real depth and detail but retain a fresh, sketchy █▓█ █
█ █▓█ quality.In amoungst the dirty house and techno another █▓█ █
█ █▓█ presence lurks in shadows...there is an almost foly █▓█ █
█ █▓█ atmosphere, an airy, acoustic ambience; strange melodic █▓█ █
█ █▓█ machina-driven acoustic loops, hinting at the 60s █▓█ █
█ █▓█ psychedelic folk the incredible string band. █▓█ █

█ █▓█ The ESEL releases have the aura of lovingly handcrafted █▓█ █
█ █▓█ short-run gems; the artwork echoes the organic █▓█ █
█ █▓█ simplicity of the music, with beautiful screen-printed █▓█ █
