Im Herbst 1997 beschlossen infectious living solutions
Mastermind "ziggy da mack" Kremser und der beste
Soulspezialist "DJ Arno" Sturmer aus der gemeinsamen
Leidenschaft zum schwarzem Soul, Funk, Latin & Jazz einen
"five o┤clock" Soulclub am Sonntag in der Meierei im
Stadtpark zu veranstalten. Unterstuetzt durch die von Arno┤s
Rare Groove Leidenschaft infizierten DJ┤s der Wiener Szene
avancierte das SoulSugar innerhalb weniger Wochen zum
legendaeren Party Wochenausklang, das es bis heute geblieben
ist. Exzellente Soulmusik, atomic Cocktails, authentische
Super8Visuals, Soulfood, fancy crowd, entspannendes Massage
und Beautycorner. Die unglaublichen Perlen
afroamerikanischer Musikgeschichte bieten ein riesen
Repertoire aus Soul, Funk, Latin, Jazz, Brasil, Blues,.
produziert zwischen den fruehen Anfaengen des R┤n┤B in den
50er und dem Diskofunk der 1970er die von DJ Arno und den
"SoulSugar Allstars" mit viel Feingefuehl auf die
Plattenteller appliziert werden.
Fast 8 Jahre begeistert das Wiener SoulSugar nun schon
Sonntag fuer Sonntag eine stetig wachsende "community
soulaffiner clubheadz". Im Fruehling 2004 kam mit dem Release
von SoulSugar#1 bei Sony/Columbia der unverwechselbare
Soundmix endlich vom Club ins Wohnzimmer.
