| | Fischerspooner are a New York arts collective of musicians, | |
| | sculptors, designers, make-up artists, performers and so on | |
| | who have come together to form a kind of amorphous | |
| | performance mass that tours venues throughout the world | |
| | challenging audiences with their outrageous performances. | |
| | What's more, the soundtrack to their madness is a very | |
| | excellent hybrid of punk, electro and techno that some are | |
| | hailing as the music of the future. The sound is genuinely | |
| | underground and is as experimental as anything else around | |
| | right now. The style sheets love this lot, which can be both | |
| | a good and a bad thing, however the music they make is | |
| | genuinely interesting in the same way that anything by, say, | |
| | Kraftwerk or Cabaret Voltaire ever was, and now the ante has | |
| | been upped as the Ministry of Sound label get the 'Spooner's | |
| | signature on paper. | |
