Release Notes:
Ever since forming in 2003 in the rural country side of southern
NH, A Drop Dead Star have been rocking their brand of pop rock to
the masses. Known for their energetic stage show and sweet, catchy
vocal hooks, A Drop Dead Star are taking leaps and bounds into the
world of indie rock, where it seems nothing can stand in their
way. Building upon their already healthy reputation in their
native New England, the late months of 2005 found them branching
out across the east coast, sharing the stage with bands such as
Patent Pending, Race The Sun, The Track Record, and We.re all
Broken. The new year saw the band in the studio, hard at work
recording their best material to date, as well as several short
tours that brought them to Indiana and Virginia. The as of yet
untitled e.p. slated for release in mid June, is a masterful blend
of the bands individual influences, displayed best in their newest
track, "Swiper, no Swiping!", where the listener is hooked from
the start in a catchy pop rock song with driving guitars and
harmonies galore. With the new recordings in hand and their ever
growing fan base, A Drop Dead Star are primed to explode onto the
music scene, bringing with them a sound and feel that is all their own.
Enjoy !
