███ direction. The Shizit (formed in Seattle in 1999) ███
███ saw hundreds of thousands of downloads from their ███
███ first two CDs, most notably the slamming mosh pit ███

███ were also included on Alec EmpireÆs (former Atari ███

███ But Anderson moved on. In 2004, about a year after ███
███ The ShizitÆs end, he began recording as Rabbit Junk. ███
███ He calls the transition more of a ôchange of ███
███ attitudeö than a change of genre. ███

███ Essentially a one-man show that blends metal, punk, ███
███ experimental and electronic forms, AndersonÆs new ███
███ incarnation definitely allows him more freedom. ███
███ Right now that means bringing in real drums, a ███
███ guitarist and the enigmatic female vocalist, Sum ███
███ Grrl. Anderson does just about everything else ███
███ himself including vocals, guitar, keyboard, drums ███
███ and programming. ███

███ While all the raging vocals, programming and ███
███ single-handed electronic stuff might be easily ███
███ mislabeled ôindustrial,ö Anderson is quick to ███
███ correct that and point to more relevant influences ███
███ like the Japanese hardcore electronic-punk band The ███

███ ôI kinda get pigeon-holed into the industrial ███

███ just think when people hear heavy music with ███

███ Rabbit Junk is aggressive and unpredictable, a mix ███
███ of politics, angst and humor delivered on a wave of ███
███ pounding noise. Anderson calls it ôhardclash,ö an ███
███ avant-garde spirit that rages against the relatively ███
███ primitive grind of his earliest influences: Slayer, ███
███ Cannibal Corpse, Metallica and Sepultura. ███

███ In the short time since its start, Rabbit Junk has ███
███ been prolific, contributing tracks to two ███
███ compilation CDs, Hordes of the Elite (Glitch Mode ███
███ Recordings) and a tribute to Atari Teenage riot ███

███ The band released a self-titled debut in 2004. The ███
