Release Notes:
La Maison Tellier was born at the end of 2003 when life
managed to reunite the four half-brothers Alexandre, Leon,
Raoul and Helmut Tellier. All from Norman descent, they
decided to settle in Normandy and started bringing
together influences such as CSNY, Palace Music or Calexico
to create a folk music of their own, sometimes in French,
sometimes in English, but always with a top-level class.
They started with a much noticed cover of the RATM classic
Killing in the Name ; since then, a trumpet player has
joined in. The debut album was out MAY 2006 on label euro
-visions. After a few changes in the line-up (Leon has
quit us...), 2007 begins with a lot of concerts all over
France. The second LP ("SECOND SOUFFLE") is due October
2007, 18th, still on label euro-visions.
