incredibly groovy french pop -- the first installment in this
excellent excellent series -- one of the best sets of 60s french
work we've ever heard! the tunes are winners all the way through
-- with a tight go-go groove that never lets up, and which
represents the best in the unique parisian scene of the 60s. you
may know a few names on here, but there's also lots of tracks by
artists we'd never heard before -- and who we're very happy to
discover! titles include "c'est bizarre" by elsa, "l'amour pas la
guerre" by claude channes, "le pivert" by ronnie bird, "la
fermeture eclair" by delphine, "7 heures du matin" by jacqueline
taieb, "vous n'avez rien compris" by virginie, "affole-toi marie"
by pascale audret, "get out of my life woman" by the blackburds,
"les filles c'est fait" by charlotte leslie, and "le nenuphar" by
     stone.
