r2 records is proud to present the debut single from swedish jazz,
hip-hop, soul sensation kissey asplund.
"with you" is the first release taken from the incredible
forthcoming album "plethora" and typifies kissey's unique blend of
sweet vocals and jazz infused hip-hop grooves.
kissey recorded the entire album with paris based hip-hop
collective papa jazz crew, and has been receiving support from djs
like gilles peterson (radio 1), marc mac (4 hero), osunlade and
karizma to name a few.
the single is backed with "caos", a delicious bittersweet
down-tempo jazz burner that speaks of the yearning felt when the
relationship is over.
kissey is currently rehearsing her new band which will be touring
from october.
she is already performing around sweden at festivals and clubs,
and has become the swedish myspace postergirl, having gained a
great amount of attention on the site.
the full length album "plethora" will be available early next year
on r2 records.
