        :: Ceremony have been churning out great pop songs full of sonic
        :: extremes and electronic mayhem for a few years now. Their first
        :: self titled record melted speakers with hot fuzz and reverbed
        :: vocals. With sounds that harken back to Phil Spector era
        :: production and melodies that are instantly stuck in your head,
        :: you will be glad you pick up anything this band puts out. You may
        :: know Paul & John from the now legendary Skywave, but since they
        :: have expanded out into new territories of sound.

        :: Live, Ceremony cranks the drum machines and brings the noise in
        :: full effect. John plays tight bass lines that give Peter Hook a
        :: lesson or two in rocking it, and Paul has more sounds under his
        :: sleeve than three guitar players. Live or on record, Ceremony hit
        :: full throttle and never brake to catch a breath.
