          'Classic To The Core Vol.1 & 2' were one of the few
          quality compilations of 'unmixed' anthems to be released
          in the post-hardcore era of 1996 -> present day.

          Nearly all of the others in this period were either: 

             (a) shortened versions of the original singles 
             (b) casually faded at the start and end 
                 (rendering them un-usable)
          or (c) the biggest sin of all...... 
                    exclusively commissioned album remixes...!!

          nah, these were the bollocks.. simultaneously released
          alongside mixed Cassette editions, Aphrodite really did
          all us DJ's a favour by giving us great DAT quality
          recordings of these anthems for us to cherish and play
          forever after.

          He also got the damn track selection right, dropping
          100% hits, with not a single filler.
          He avoided the common routine of buying the rights to 
          ~5 good tracks and then cramming in countless unknowns
          between them to create a 2 or 3 cd box set

          fewer tracks, more quality. it just can't be knocked


          too many classics to mention.... 
               every fucking one is a killer!!
