█░█ inspired Dave Gareth Lewis to let unseen aural █░█
█░█ forces breathe and unfold. After several years of █░█
█░█ creating original music and remixes, his debut █░█
█░█ album-length work is a studio project called █░█
█░█ static north. █░█

█░█ Trained in New Media Arts, Dave learned the █░█
█░█ importance of engineering sound to work within █░█
█░█ live spaces, and set to moving images. This █░█
█░█ philosophy stuck with him and is evident in █░█
█░█ static north - music easily described as █░█
█░█ cinematic. █░█
█░█ █░█
█░█ Controlled feedback, generated noise and █░█
█░█ shimmering guitar swirl, while basslines and the █░█
█░█ occasional drum machine barely contain the chaos. █░█
█░█ Elements of art and post-rock, ambient █░█
█░█ electronics and shoegaze filter through the haze. █░█
█░█ The name itself eludes to the unknown in nature - █░█
█░█ a noisy, unmoving isolation where there is much █░█
