The ironic (if syntactically disastrous) title of this
vinyl-only release gives some indication of precisely
how serious (or not) this lot are about what they do.
The music here is apparently inspired by listening
exclusively to seventies and eighties sci-fi, though
you'll not find much in the way of vintage synthesizer
action here, Fan Club Orchestra seem to rely on an
8-bit sonic arsenal that brings to mind the fuzzy
sound chips of your first Gameboy.
Have a listen to the pixellated krautrock of the title
track, or the fanfare stylings of 'Science Fiction
Overdrive' for two particularly enjoyable examples
of the group's supremely kooky dynamics.
