Release Notes:
Matt and Terry somehow ended up in orchestra together at York High School,
sitting in the string section. One grade difference separated them. Matt, as the
older and wiser of the two, knew that it was time to trade in the classics and
start making some of his own. He joined a local band and the next day recruited
Terry to join. When, in Summer Æ04, they found Lucas, Rosematter (York, PA) was
born.
The chain grew. Lucas brought Kevin in Winter Æ05. The boys worked hard,
developing style and structure and power. But the voice, the straw that stirs
the drink - where was it? They endured through singer after singer, without
losing a beat, until in Winter Æ06 they met Katie. Love at first sight.
Believing so much in the cause of their music and in themselves, Rosematter
toured the US in Summer Æ06 with Mile High School. They met Lobster Records on
the edge of the Pacific Ocean. It was a done deal.
In Spring Æ07 Rosematter will enter the recording studio with producer Chris
Badami (Midtown, The Starting Line, Dillinger Escape Plan) to create their debut
album, releasing Fall Æ07. Regional headline shows and national support shows
are schedule for Fall Æ07 and Winter Æ08.
