      Napoleon IIIrd is the most interesting exponent of the
      recently resurgent Leeds music scene.  A one-man-band who has
      been in bands with members of the research, forward, russia!
      and iliketrains he has long been considered the city's 'most
      likely to'....and now is his moment. 'In debt to' is his debut
      abum and it's full of complex lo-fi pop made out of piles of
      antique organs and car-boot keyboards, strummed chords, parps
      of brass and glitchy beats.  He puts so much heart and soul
      into every verse, chorus and middle eight that you need a
      defibrillator... this is not merely an excellent record, it's
      a manifesto.
