Until now Willie Wright has been something of a enigma. The 45 has remained
insanely rare and the track has only been known to the wider audience through a
certain bootleg LP. Some thought he was from the Caribbean and not from the US,
simply because he was just nowhere to be found. But after years of
super-sleuthing our one and only search-until-I-die people-digger Malcolm Catto
finally found him alive and well, happy to hear that someone still knew about
his 45. Not only do we have a fantastic version of the Curtis Mayfield classic
but on the flip we have DJ-Tib from Italy doing a drum-heavy edit.
