Kicking off CD 1 with two gems from the vaults of the legendary Philadelphia
International and Salsoul Records we glide through a classy and decadent
selection of Studio 54 and Loft anthems with the likes of Vickie Sue RobinsonÆs
æTurn The Beat AroundÆ and the massively sampled Inner Life æI'm Caught Up (In A
One Night Love Affair).
--
Early into CD 2 we are treated to OdysseyÆs truly phenomenal æNative New YorkerÆ
û a Disco classic of the highest pedigree followed by the Ashford & SimpsonÆs
uber rare 12ö cut æOver & OverÆ performed by Disco vamp Sylvestor (one for the
spotters here).
--
Plus the æpsychedelic discoÆ of Cloud OneÆs æAtmosphere StrutÆ and Clyde
AlexanderÆs æGotta Get Your LoveÆ. This is a true selection of carefully chosen
and loving packaged, 100% DJ Friendly and totally dance floor targeted gems -
with a nod to the golden era of New YorkÆs finest The Loft, Studio 54 and the
Paradise Garage rather than Saturday Night Fever, this is without doubt Vintage
Disco Grooves.
