Pilooski drops an official EP here on Astrolab. Three cuts of
sample based ditties, kicking off with "Love Is Wet" a stunning
little downbeat patchwork of old school samples, no beats, plenty
of atmospheric FX (rain, thunder etc) and a sweet little vocal
line. "Girlz" is almost Kanye in its bombast, excellent beat edits,
big fat samples chopped and spliced and a heavy beat to carry it
along. On the flip is "The Wizzard Edit" I can only say it's an
Eastern tinged cosmic stomp-a-thon.
