This is part of a special set of releases for DPS' seventh
birthday, and we hope lovers of both classical music and
scandalous copyright infringement will appreciate it! No,
the irony is not lost on us at all...
To summarise, these recordings are not by Joyce Hatto; they are
recordings by other pianists 'remixed' by her husband and sold
under her name. It is not clear if Hatto, really only a
second-rate piano teacher, was privy to the fraud. Regardless,
it is likely that these recordings will not be available in
this fraudulent format for long, so these releases are meant to
serve an archival interest.

The 2 Franck works are taken from the Josep Colom CD.
The 6 Debussy Preludes are the same as on Hatto's Debussy Volume
1, which is stolen from the Tateno CD.
The Saint-Saδns Etude is taken from Margit Rahkohnen's CD. No
tempo manipulation was detected on any track.
One interesting note is that the Tateno CD has a false start in
BruyΦres, and this is also present on this Hatto CD.
