     This is part of a special set of releases for DPS' seventh
     birthday, and we hope lovers of both classical music and 
     scandalous copyright infringement will appreciate it! No,
     the irony is not lost on us at all...

     To summarise, these recordings are not by Joyce Hatto; they are
     recordings by other pianists 'remixed' by her husband and sold
     under her name. It is not clear if Hatto, really only a
     second-rate piano teacher, was privy to the fraud. Regardless,
     it is likely that these recordings will not be available in 
     this fraudulent format for long, so these releases are meant to
     serve an archival interest.

     on Arabesque (Z6537). Tracks 2, 4-13, 16, 18, 22, and 23 are from
     the recording by Carlo Grante on Altarus. Tracks 3, 15, 17, 19-21,
     and 24-27 are from Marc-AndrΘ Hamelin's recording on Hyperion
