This is part of a special set of releases for DPS' seventh
birthday, and we hope lovers of both classical music and
scandalous copyright infringement will appreciate it! No,
the irony is not lost on us at all...
To summarise, these recordings are not by Joyce Hatto; they are
recordings by other pianists 'remixed' by her husband and sold
under her name. It is not clear if Hatto, really only a
second-rate piano teacher, was privy to the fraud. Regardless,
it is likely that these recordings will not be available in
this fraudulent format for long, so these releases are meant to
serve an archival interest.

All the War Sonatas are stolen from Oleg Marshev's Danacord CDs.
The 6th and 8th Sonatas have mostly minor tempo manipulation, but
the 7th Sonata shows considerable tempo manipulation.

To make file names more managable I have omitted the composer
(Prokofiev) and the words Piano Sonata from the track titles as
this is a disc of Projofiev Piano Sonatas.
