Fifteen albums on, these indie legends show no
sign of resting on their laurels, and Bee Stings
is proof that all this frolicking in pastures new
has paid off. From catchy opener "Take Me to
Heaven" to the captivating "So Many Colours",
funk-tinged "Sing the Things" and latest addition
to the band Rachel Mackenzie's moving
interpretation of Will Oldham's "After I Made Love
to You", the record features some of BMX Bandits'
finest efforts to date, with Mackenzie's voice
breathing new life into the band's creations.
Sounding this glorious 21 years into your career
            is no mean feat.
