Brief (3 tracks in 32 minutes) and enticing live
performance finds the boys from Iceland relying heavily on
long, low-volume and fuzzy analog-sounding electronic
tones phasing in and out into beautiful lysergic patterns.
The disc opens with snippets of accordion-like sound, and
then a very brief radio static eruption introduces the
subdued radiator drone, interrupted by a voice reading
numbers at around the 6 minute mark. A sped-up CD player
emerges, subtly, over somnambulant electronics and surging
washes of fridge drones and feedback whistles. Electric
hum drifting in slow moving waves continues on the rest of
the disc, with added touches of monotonous rhythm. Very
trance inducing, and very strange.
