Jef started mixing records in 1992 after a nine month break in
London. His groovy & sexy house sets made him soon earn a reputation
as one of the fastest rising Dj's amongst the french house scene à
Jef played so far in all the major french clubs and parties, having
monthly Saturday residency at the famous REX-CLUB for the "WATCH OUT
!" parties, he's also one of the major residents for the "RESPECT"
nights all over the world.
Jef had a weekly show on RADIO FG in paris between 1994 - 2000 and
started since February 2001 a new monthly residency on RADIO NOVA
(Paris / Montpellier / Nantes à and www.radionova.com) every last
thursday of the month from 10pm till 11pm.
French label DISTANCE chose him as an A&R in 1996. Since then, he's
responsible for six compilations with them, the "MY HOUSE" serie (5
volumes) and "FRENCH SESSIONS vol.3", those compilations had a great
response nationally and internationally and were rated several times
compilation of the year in magazines such as CODA or TRAX à
He was asked in 1997 by KRYPTON / SONY FRANCE to mix "PARIS-CHICAGO
EXPRESS" a CAJUAL & RELIEF compilation.
Jef took part of the "ALINE CAN DANCE" compilation project
(SMALL/SONY) by producing in 1997 with DJ CYRIL K. (E-TRONEEK FUNK)
an exclusive track named "FIRST STEP". Volume 2 was released Nov. 98
with another hit from Jef & Cyril (DOUBLE K) : "WHEN YOU TOUCH ME".
In June 2000 was released "WATCH OUT! 2000" (ATMOSPHERIQUES), another
mix-CD reflecting Jef's residencies at the REX-CLUB.
