hot on the heels of the excellent "remix ep 1" is a superior 2nd
volume of future jazz remixes. wai wanÆs æbroken mixÆ of "samba de
ile" doesnÆt stray too far from the territory of his æ4/4 mixÆ, but
here he lets the melting guitar, sweet vocal duet and twisted flute
hog the limelight. ritonÆs mix of the same cut dislocates the beats
forming a jazz-step fusion, as he lets the keys collide, a flute
froth and an over-sized bass compete with vocals which in the
ensuing mΩlΘe like a glove. ras has produced a jolly loveable
version of "grao de trigo", with party vocal shouts, all over the
show breaks, a joking fun flute and idyllic strings.
