Fantastic! This lost late-60's album is a real treasure, and it offers
a musical bridge between Marcos' earlier bossa nova material, and his
later, more experimental stuff. The production is beautifully baroque,
with a feel that's similar to some of the early albums by Milton
Nascimento. Given this, it's no surprise that Nascimento makes a guest
appearance on 2 tracks -- "Viola Enluarada" and "Requiem" both of which
were arranged by Dori Caymmi. Other arrangements were handled by Oscar
Castro Neves and Eumir Deodato.
