THD, Costa Rican TRANCE act lead by dj DUSK with partnership with dj Sir G,
has definitively broken musical boundaries with a sound that is best described
as Dance Aggressive & Dark Electronically Influenced Groove. Dj DUSK after
sharing the same stage with names like: DARK SOHO, XENOMORPH, SHIVA CHANDRA,
NEUROMOTOR, CYDONIA, GMS , WIZZY NOISE, D- TEK, TIM SCHULDT and others, began
his musical career with their influences and also great influence of
industrial rock. THD is Deviated from modern metal to the musical style of
Trance, "RAMPAGE" the album, has a hidden melody that is prevalent within deep
layers of guitars, keyboards, samples, and programmed drums. Sometimes is
aggressive, sometimes dark minimalistic, conglomeration of styles and
influences classically orchestrated into a hypnotic, menacing landscape.
Powerful sounds and percussion are blended with poetic darkness, containing
diverse rhythms on the senses overlaying a piercing aural assault. Layered
percussions and effects equalize the sound, also deep heartfelt, introspective
voices that express a longing for inner fears, emotional mood swings,
bitterness, despair and even elements of hope and happiness are wrapped up in
the musical landscape. Heavy, Tripnotic, Industrial trance with glorious doses
of intense electro sounds. It also can be described as a true Post-Modern
Trance Rock band. THD music combines the relentless 4/4 drive of Electronica's
raved up beats with crushing drop tuned guitar and some barbed vocal sounds.
"It's kind of like Minimal tech-trance in a menage a tois with FULL ON Trance
and industrial power". It's defiantly the heavier side of Trance. The
experimental side of metal without leaving a side the danceable feeling
specially at night time. In a few words an industrial/Trance band. And for
those who really like comments and reviews, it could also be called: The
unofficial 'Black Corps' of the Electro-Industrial Trance movement, because it
combines electronic grooves, harsh guitars, esoteric utterances, and a variety
of other potent influences from the Left Hand to create an apocalyptic and
revolutionary sounds cape with out leaving the dance floor orientation apart.
If there is a Genre called techno/industrial rave metal THD belongs exactly
there because of its High attack,up-tempo,powerful dark melody line, strong
thunderous distorted slicing guitar riffs and swirling futuristic sounds with
vocal fraces that stick in your head long after the song ends. Solid
techno-industrial-super-grind-aggressive-trance.
Cover may say 2003 but this was actually released and distributed early 2004,
as stated at various shop/distributor websites.
