Since its beginnings in 2003, Enneri Blaka has settled
down its funk music as well as its good reputation, as
shown by Angelo MooreÆs (singer of the band Fishbone )
participation in two pieces on their first album. The
eight musicians of this Strasbourg big band donÆt hesitate
to use a keyboard, a DJ and programming, while relying on
their strong instrumental grounding (drums, guitar, bass
and brass ) and their perfect singer, to create an
irresistible groove. Spiced up with many parallel
influences (acid-jazz, rap, electro music), this
impressive album contributes to put hot funk back in the
game.
