I'm so thrilled and excited to be able to bring you this absolutely wonderful release from US artist Daniel
Miller. Having heard a demo of these tracks I must admit I was instantly smitten and I'm sure that you'll
simply love it as well. Daniel's sound concentrates on the minimalist end of electronic music and the sheer
confidence with which he's put this utterly engrossing selection of tracks together is a real joy. He moves
between beatless, ambient beauty and dense soundscapes with such ease that you'll find yourself coming
back to it time and again. 5 main tracks form the structure of the work along with 2 shorter interlude pieces
that work to seamlessly join everything together. And it's this coherence between the pieces, even though
there's a real variety in the sounds on offer that pleases the ear so much. At one point a superbly rhythmic
track cuts in... all glitches, clicks and a mechanically funky style, but it still has a melodic edge that works
its way into the mix. I can't really stress enough just how good this is. If you're a fan of 12k, Raster Noton or
Spekk you should really count this as an essential release and if you're a lover of electronic music in
general... well, I think you're going to love it to bits. Many thanks indeed to Daniel for giving us the chance to
