| Vacaville, California's finest progenitors of alt-heaviness and |
| revitalized hard rock, Papa Roach, stepped into the iTunes studio |
| recently. The group's blunt, melodic style was put on display as they |
| recorded full-band versions of "Reckless" (from The Paramour Sessions) |
| and "Scars" (from Getting Away With Murder). Most tellingly, the |
| acoustic version of Paramour's "Forever" shows that there's a little bit |
| of hope underneath the group's damaged world view. |
