Release Notes:

In the late 90Æs, Denis Fedabeille started shaping a
poetic electronic universe, bouncing and feverish.
Spacious and domestic electronic musics offer this hip-
hop, reggae, jazz and pop fan a wider space of liberty,
still sensitive. In 2003, he met Francisco Berchenko (aka
Artificiel ) with whom he made the duet Del Wire. Their
fist opus ½ 01 ╗ was released by the label Nacopajaz on
June 2004. This kinematics album was welcomed by the
French and foreign press as a delicate mix of Hip-Hop,
electronica, ambient and melancholic melodies. Meticulous
and assiduous craftsman, Denis Fedabeille accumulates
tracks of extreme sensitivity. With a more panoramic
vision than in Del Wire, he weaves beautiful electronic
pieces, and more intimate that could easily illustrate
rather long images. In 2005, on his first solo album ½
Fedaden ╗ released on Nacopajaz, he gathered some little
gems of electronica endowed with a deep sense of melody,
all more scheming than the other. He then delivers an
organic and seismic album that draws from dub basses and
goes through feverish ambient atmospheres where violins
and sharp beats twist and embrace one another. He
audaciously proves the richness of his influences by
opening with a track with Latin beats and bossa
inspiration, a kind of electronica ballade wearing flip-
flops from the 50Æs, played at the marimba. In 2006, he
released ½ Remains ╗ on the net-label Edogm. A one track
album of 35 minutes duration, Denis Fedabeille clearly
asserts a keen taste for more abstract expressions.
Composed with rather rough samples or fragments, far from
the more pop album ôFedadenö, although ôRemainsö is
undeniably a melancholic album, the heady melodies are
almost absent. ½ There is a whole mass of sounds, sound
effects, noises, sonorities, ambiances and universe in the
music of a single man. (à) In the image of a nostalgic
movie, Denis Fedabeille offers us with "Remains" some
souvenirs from holidays or childhood, apparently random
but that becomes more and more coherent listening after
listening. A fascinating electronic vision.
