If you're reading this, you're a hipper-than-most music fan
looking to discover something. If you like melancholy,
melodic alternative pop, you'll probably like this cd. And
you'll like it more as you get to know it more.
Think of it as a letter to you from one music fan to another.
Robin wanted to write songs like the ones that helped him
get through, songs with some depth and with melodies that
sound fresh and stay with you. He wanted them to be songs
you could listen to again and again.
Being in the band "Bleak House" convinced him to eliminate
all the middlemen, the producers and sales people, and
deliver his music to other people who LOVE good songs.
While the recording isn't polished, it has a unique sound
that only an independent artist could produce through trial
and error, mistakes and solutions. The lyrics, too, could
never have come from a cookie-cutter music factory. They're
quirky, sometimes straight ahead, sometimes poetic and a bit
spooky.
It's familiar and yet new. Give it a try.
