With "Yo Son", Prince Language delivers an edit of an 80's
obscurity that sounds like it could have been an outtake from
Remain In Light-era Talking Heads backing an Arabic R & B group.
On the B-side's "Bamalama", NYC's Lee Douglas chops an obscure
Belle Epoque ("Miss Broadway"). This one has that classic Italo
vibe with lots of tight arpeggiated synths that almost verge on a
Detroit techno sound, and a snatch of sexy, menacing lady-vocals,
reminds us a lot of Tantra's classic "Hills Of Katmandu".
