Roll up, roll up for the next in the series of ultra-limited
Talent Hoover releases from Ampoule... and this is a real
beauty, I can tell you!
A simple 3" CDr with 2 tracks that really do take you on a
funky old ride.
Beginning with a delicious ambient texture that's full of
warmth and drifting beauty, it's soon joined by a chunky,
grooving 4/4 beat that's defiantly House-based, but sounds
more Techno in reality.
What's really noticable is the way that field recordings and
disembodied voices float effortlessly in the background adding
this distinct layer of atmosphere before bringing in a groovy
acid squelch bassline. Truly gorgeous.
The second track has a more laid back feel with a shuffling
beat and wonderfully dense melodies and lush soundscape
chords.
Still has this funkiness but with a considerably lower key flavour.
Essentially this is another example of just how good the Ampoule
stable really is and if you take my advice you'll snap this up
before they disappear for good!
Absolutely belting and highlyrecommended.
