Initially issued under the name of The Reformed Faction Of Soviet
France, the name (and thus packaging) was immediately changed to
avoid possible legal issues.

Reformed Faction is a musical group formed in 2005 by three former
members of Zoviet France: Andy Eardley, Mark Spybey (aka Dead
Voices On Air) and Robin Storey (Rapoon). The band's original name
was The Reformed Faction of Soviet France. They played one
concert, in Vienna on 10 November 2005, and released a self-titled
album on the Vienna-based Klanggalerie label. In 2006, they
announced that they were to continue the project under the name
Reformed Faction in order to detach themselves from the name
Zoviet France. The album was re-pressed under the new name and
given the new title Vota. In the same year, Andy Eardley departed
the band. They subsequently toured East Germany and recorded a
second album, The War Against, for the Soleilmoon label. They have
also recorded a triple album for Soleilmoon, to be released in
2008. The band continues today as a duo of Mark Spybey and Robin
Storey.
"More than a decade after :zoviet*france: members Robin Storey
(Rapoon), Mark Spybey (Dead Voices on Air) and Andrew Eardley
(Delayer) left the band, the three have teamed up for a new group:
Reformed Faction is a 21st century version of this important group
with a unique sound that combines the old :zoviet*france: style
with modern technology and a fresh wind blowing from the North of
England."

We, the project referred to as Reformed Faction adhere to the
following principles:
1. We work towards the development of the collective and the
promotion of a culture that removes the need to strive for
personal gain by exploiting others.
2. We seek to engage in practices that will distribute wealth to
those that deserve it. A fair days pay for a fair days work.
3. We have no bosses in Reformed Faction, only workers.
4. We work towards the well being of the collective.
5. We will not allow the good name of Reformed Faction to be
associated with capitalist business practices that seek to exploit
others.
6. We control our means of production.
7. We collaborate.
8.We are anti-art . The Art establishment is the enemy of art . We
do not collaborate with the enemy.
We will use WHATEVER MEANS NECESSARY to uphold these principles.
Nothing has changed.
