| Slowpho is Hilde Drange from Bergen and |
| Christian Watkins from Kristiansand. They are |
| making music in the borderlines between new |
| electronics like drum'n'bass and |
| downtempo/triphop, and more jazzy elements with |
| "live" improvisations from studio musicians and |
| Hildes jazzy vocals. |
| |
| The result is in the same musical landscape as |
| Lamb and Norwegian jazz/electronica projects |
| like Kr°yt and Wibutee. |
| |
| Lovetech was originally intended for a limited |
| release on the Kristiansand based label |
| Groovecentral, but gets a wider release in |
| collaboration with Beatservice. |
| |
| Slowpho will continue in 2001 with a 7"-series |
| on Beatservice, with the debut album following |
| autumn 2001 or early 2002. |
