This newcomer to the electronic scene played for long the role of
observer, in the sweaty basements of London and Valencia, before
getting to DJing and music production with panache, brio and
attitude.
Brwn Shoes' sound is based on dirty, insistent monosyllabic basslines
and superpositions of subtle notes and minimalistic gimmicks,
providing moody, stripped-down pieces meant to drive the crowd and
its DJ corpus mentus. Zeugma and Tigers Don't Sleep are two perfect
examples of this new breed of sound he's developing.
