Michael Hoenig was in Tangerine Dream, and this is
his second album, released 19 years after his debut
"Departure from the northern wasteland", his
landmark albums - a must if you like early German
new age/kraut/electronic music.
On this album he chooses a more digital direction,
creating an instrumental 80's sound that still
avoids being cliched. Somewhere inbetween the best
of Jan Hammer and Jean-Michel Jarre in the 80's,
maybe?
Released on Capitol's Cinema-label, by the way.
